"A rum between Spanish, French and English thanks to a hybrid distillation. Well balanced and not too intense with a pleasant caramel and never cloying thanks also to the barrel/oak aroma with a coffee, chocolate and lychee/mango finish giving it depth. Medium-long finish."
"Chairman’s best ! This one is the follower of the yearly 1931 editions. It’s like some of the editions a blend of pot stills, column stills and Agricole. I’ve only tasted the 84th edition, and thought that tasted a little aggressive and alcohol. This one is much milder and rounder."
"03.12.2022 Enjoying some samples at home. Notes Medium dark in colour. Nose Medium intense, light wood, light grass, fresh, dried fruit, faint caramel, light leather. Palate Medium intense, wood, light tannins, faint smoke, dried fruit, light leather, light Agricole, light caramel. Finish Medium long, wood, light tannins, light grass, light caramel, faint chocolate, raisin."
"Very balanced, very round, very smooth, very drinkable but, alas, the backward taste stops far too quickly, it's like a total brake after the initial and intermediate notes. It's a bit disconcerting, you want the taste to continue developing but no, it's the complete machine stop all too suddenly. Too bad. Not bad, but you have to sip it with a high tempo because the taste leaves you in a few seconds."
