Not too bad a rum either. The nose has toasted oak and on top of that vanilla and a lot of nice fruit. The palate is light yet balanced with Ligh toasted oak, lighter than the nose. The fruit is clear followed by vanilla, coffee and light molasses. The finish is medium long with toasted notes, vanilla and coconut. Price to quality is good.
The nose opens with a scent of dried vanilla notes. The taste first reveals cocoa and vanilla aromas, after which it develops into exotic fruits, compote, sour cherry "griotte". The surface is soft with toasted notes.
Nice woody flavors supported by cocoa, vanilla and coffee. I also like the 48% abv 👌
