“#4042 Keep'em coming, this is the good stuff 😊 Again a very fruity release with nice floral notes. Spicy and oily palate with some esters and natural sweetness. Price to quality is very good in my mind and I like the caramel and herbal notes in the empty glass.”

“Ce rhum est la définition de sortir l’artillerie lourde. Le nez est d’une concentration et d’une puissance phénoménales, portée par les notes funky, les fruits trop mûrs et une touche florale très fraîche. On distingue l’olive, mais également des notes fermentées qui tournent vers le fromage, ainsi qu’un côté animal qui tire sur la viande. Un profil bestial et intense. L’attaque en bouche ne laisse pas de marbre : une explosion funky anéanti le palais de ses saveurs fruitées, sur les agrumes et les fruits tropicaux d’un côté, et les saveurs médicinales de l’autre avec des notes d’esters, de colle, de solvants et de fermentation. Le côté végétal est plus en retrait, mais il laisse place à des notes pimentées inattendues. Les tanins viennent s’incruster en fin de bouche. L’alcool est remarquablement bien intégré. Malgré le profil plutôt rustre et charpenté, on se retrouve avec une finale longue mais plutôt fine et élégante. Fruits, caramel et épices apportent une certaine gourmandise, tandis que les notes végétales et phénoliques apportent leur lot d’intensité. Un superbe rhum blanc, qui peut se boire pur comme en mixologie pour doper un cocktail.”
