How does this rum taste?
RumX members love the very fruity profile: papaya and lychee on the nose with caramel and cream toffee in the glass. This 21‑year Clarendon pot still (JMM) sips easily, with dried fruit, gentle spice and a punchy, long finish. Some mention a slightly thin body and wish for higher ABV, but reviews call it a good sipper. A limited 217-bottle Thompson Bros. release, backed by 10 community reviews.

Nice continental Clarendon, full of fruits and well integrated. Would have loved to see it with a higher abv and some more intensity. //update: rated it down a bit, in direct comparison to others the low abv and lack of complexity gets more pronounced but still a good sipper
Surprisingly fruity for a Clarendon. The volume percentages are well chosen. It does not appear thin on the palate. Nice long finish.
It has really nice fruity notes, but is unfortunately a little too watery.
Fruity, continental Clarendon. Fruity profile, light esters, alcohol is very well integrated. Slight sweetness, yellow fruits, a slight bitter note in the finish, probably due to the long ageing, but which fits well into the profile. Easy sipping rum, a nice rum, but lacking that special something for a higher rating.
