“It‘s a very good complex and delicious rum with a nice lovely fruity/roasted/woody Profile. Only minus is that tje Alcohol could be intergrated better. If you add some drops of water, it will help a lot. For me one of the best rums of 2021 Nose: fruity, banana, blackberry, overripe fruits, mandarin, apricot, alcoholic, varnish, ginger, spicy, tobacco Mouth: Full bodied, strong, dry, elegant, intense, oak, vanilla, roasted, spicy, dried fruits, dried currants, banana, green apple Finish: medium long, astrigend, dry, delicious, young wood, oak, tannins, burnt sugar”

“Very different from the velier 2006. Much more dark aromas of cocoa, coffee, cinnamon, leather, tobacco, blackberries and banana. But also the typical notes of pear and slightly floral notes are present. Overall, however, it is a bit too smoky and woody for me. Alcohol could also be a little better integrated here but for the price it is more than fair. Definitely one of the best full proof Australians on the market! I personally prefer but more the even fruitier”

“Unglaublich ausgewogen und durchgehend tolle beerdigen Nlten mit einem Touch Vanille. Echt richtig gut zu den 85 Punkten fehlt mir persönlich aber etwas. Aber zweifelsohne der beste Australier den ich hatte.”
