How does this rum taste?
Barbados No. 5 is a distinct rum from the Foursquare Distillery, selected by The Colours of Rum. Distilled in 2008 and aged for 12 years, it features a unique profile with a 60.3% ABV. Users highlight its strawberry and pastry aromas complemented by roasted, cherry, and dark chocolate flavors. Praised for diverging from typical Foursquare characteristics, it introduces an intriguing cheesy and fruity complexity. While some critics found it unexpectedly metallic and salty, the prominent fruity notes intrigued. This cask strength rum offers an adventurous journey for connoisseurs exploring atypical flavor spectrums.

Very atypical Foursquare. Lots of fruit and chewing gum. I like it very much.
This is a very nice release and different from the normal ones. Very fruity and nice roasted wood.
Surprisingly fruity this Foursquare is hard to believe that it comes from there. I really like it. Exceptional bottling
12th GRF, Colors of Rum Tasting. Quick and short... Nose: interesting side note of cheese or rancid sock, but really not unpleasant, rather challengingly exciting. Palate: good, solid, sweetish, slightly metallic, light licorice Pleasing, but not outstanding
