How does this rum taste?
- Subtle citrus aroma
- Hints of spice
- Gentle warm finish
The Plantation Duvel Beer Barrel Aged rum is a distinctive Trinidadian spirit distilled from molasses using a column still at the T.D.L distillery. Bottled by Maison Ferrand, it has aged for nearly 12 years, featuring a 45.2% ABV. This rum presents a light aroma profile marked by citrus, young wood, and pastries, while the palate delivers a thin, fruity experience with hints of young wood and spice. Reviews highlight a slightly bitter finish and a perceived lack of body and complexity, with some users noting beer barrel influences and pastry traces. Ideal for those seeking a subtle, easy-going rum experience.

As with Jamaica 2013, the Finish Duvel is clearly perceptible on the finish, but this rum is far too flat! Big disappointment with these 2 Finish Duvels.
