“The grilled overripe bananas jump out at me from the glass! Besides other tropical fruits and vanilla.In the mouth again ripe banana and vanilla, very mild and oily.In the finish comes a peppery and salty note and barrel. Overall very harmonious and intense, top!”

“Great nose, but on the palate it's a touch too bitter for me. The dilution has no discernible negative effect on the fullness of the rum, but the fruit notes are somewhat lost behind the tart wood and spice notes.”

“I got this in the mail from Germany yesterday and I just couldn't wait until the weekend tasting it. Being on a week off from work and having a lot of time to arrange my rum collecrion I can always find a good excuse to sip one :-) I'd say this is a new super rum from Long Pond. Despite the age it has a solid oak as a backbone with fruits and spices on top. The funk is there and it's well balanced and velvety on the palate with a very light mineral touch with some caramel. It's not a cheap rum but I think the price is well matched with the quality.”
