The "21Y" was produced in Guyana at the Uitvlugt distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Kintra. It was distilled in 1997 from Molasses with a Double Wooden Pot Still and then aged for 21 years. The rum has an ABV of 49,1%. This is a limited release and there are only 113 bottles. 12 community members rated this rum with an average of 8.4/10. The rum smells like Spicy, Tropical fruit and Ester, and on the palate there is Creamy, Spice and Thin.

Low Uitv profile with bad side-taste
A great nose. Chocolaty/woody bitterness typical from PM. You get glue/wood pulp and pipe tobacco. Spices, pepper and herbal mix (between fennel and anise). Something oily/fishy akin to the cod liver oil capsules. With aeration, nice jasmine tea flavor with fruity evening herbal tea. Entry also very typical from PM (cf nose) and then the PM's magic with a wonderful spicy/fruity mix (peppery litchees at the first sip) very well balanced. Alas the finish is only medium short almost fizzy on the oak spices and bitterness. One more point for the release price. Congrats to Kintra & Rum Mercenary!
