Unspectacular rum from Fiji. Tastes quite good.
Color: White WineOdor:Vanilla, fruity with ester aromas and sugar cane. Also medicinal.Taste:Mild in the mouth and on swallowing, watered down.Faintly spicy with aromas of sugar cane juice, wood and Almdudler herbal lemonade.Finish:Medium lengthSlightly spicy and woody.78 points.
Ok much less unpleasantries, but still this does next to nothing...
Tasted during a tasting with several CDIs. As other reviews said, not a spectacular rum. A few years extra in the barrel would have been beneficial for this rum. Very musky and mild taste. Not worth the price, price quality wise you could even opt for the CDI Caraibes...
