How does this rum taste?
Most enjoy its classic, dry Guyana profile with oak, coffee and sherry notes. Critics mention the tannic, peppery finish and price. Consensus: a solid, characterful cask-strength Demerara option.
If you like classic, earthy Demerara-style rums and don’t mind some heat, this gives you big Guyana character at cask strength without being overwhelmingly funky or sweet.
Those sensitive to high ABV, preferring sweet and soft rums, or drinkers who dislike tannic, dry finishes and pronounced oak and pepper notes.

Kneipe Alte Post Witten Februar 20225.
- Several years since last tasting and the bottle is nearing empty, but still quite good.
