A very good Bielle indeed. The nose just races at you once poured and the fruits are there with wood, menthol and polish. After resting i get a hint of marzipan. The palate is wonderfully fruity with wood and menthol and at the end i get a whif of licorice. The finish is long and lightly bitter with wood and oranges.

I like bielle, but I find this one a bit bland compared to younger cask strength and almost half the price. It lacks some pep.

Le nez est très porté sur les fruits secs et la colle. Le nez est envouteur avec une belle fraicheur et des épices en pagailles. La note de réglisse propre à Bielle est là mais moins présentes que d’accoutumé. Le nez est porté par une concentration tout en douceur et mielleuse. Ce nez est magique. En bouche, malgré les 45%, c’est doux mais intense en gout. Le boisé est présent avec délicatesse. C’est fruité et agréable. On a droit à une belle longueur vanillée-réglisse. C’est très harmonieux et un digne représentant de ce que sont de bons et beaux rhums agricoles des Antilles françaises
