How does this rum taste?
The Wagemut Special Edition 2020 is a distinguished Trinidad rum from the T.D.L distillery, bottled by Selected Cask Community. With its 14-year aging, including a year finished in Madeira barrels, it offers a complex profile with aromas of vanilla, allspice, and dried fruits. Tasting notes reveal roasted, vanilla, and sweet chocolate flavors. This cask strength limited edition (57.9% ABV) achieves a refined balance, attracting both critique and commendation for its pronounced sweetness and Madeira influence. Limited to 247 bottles, it remains a collector's delight, offering a unique, albeit strong, drinking experience.

This is a very limited bottle and almost hard to find unless you go to auction. The madeira Cask shines through in this beautiful rum. First destilled by the famous Angostura Destillery and then aged 13 years in the Caribbean. The transported to Germany wjmgere it was finished in madeira barrel for another year. You may want to add a frew drops of water because the proof really burns if you don't.
