"#4568 21.01.2024 Having a go at a few more samples. Very nice rum especially when looking at the price upon release. A bit more specific notes. Nose Light wood, very fruity, light glue and marzipan, medium vegetal note. Palate Well balanced, light wood, fruity, spicy, light vegetal, nice herbal note. Finish Medium long, medium dry, fruity. There is a faint sugarcane note in the profile."
"What can I say about this mix...it amazed me! You can feel the vegetal part of the vaval and there are the "dirty" scents characteristic of casimir joined by the sherry cask which gives it a nice fruity and buttery note! A really successful experiment!"
"A nice surprise! A clairin that takes a completely different turn with this sherry. A nice complexity, roundness, slightly spicy and roasted notes thanks to the sherry. We keep nevertheless this floral side of the clairin with licorice and relatively young fruits. A rather long finish without being interminable. A good value for money in my opinion!"
"Not bad on the nose. Greedy behind a very present vegetal frame. On the palate however I am quite disappointed. There are spices to broth of kitchen which are really too present and not very pleasant. I didn't like this rum."
