"I got a sample from each release yesterday and had to give them a go right away. The price tag on these is pretty high compared to the regular releases! The nose is well balanced and fruity with leather, flowers, ginger roasted coffee and light oak. The palate is complex, well balanced and warm with oak, nutmeg, citrus, coffee as well as light tea and nutty flavours. The finish is long with oak, vanilla, apricot, coffee and licorice. The price doesn't match the quality in my mind, but this is probably going to be a collectors item."

"Good Saint James. A little simple on the palate, lacking a touch of fruitiness. In short, this is the bottle you want for your collection, or will pass on given the price and the difficulty of obtaining it."

"Great rum, which the drinking strength is very good to face. Very round and just as strong as varied in taste. Beats even in direct comparison with St. James bottlings with higher alcohol content excellent."
