Ich kann zwar immer nicht nachvollziehen, warum man einen Rum rauchig machen möchte, aber was soll’s. Dieser ist zumindest eher dezent rauchig und ok.
Peated Rum, bei all der Liebe einiger zum Rauch im Whisky war es nur eine Frage der Zeit, bis das mal jemand in den Rum bringt. Ich persönlich mag es überhaupt nicht rauchig, weder im Whisky noch bei anderen Dingen. Neutral betrachtet würde ich sagen, dass der durchaus trinkbar ist und die Fans von rauchigem Whisky oder Projekten a la Bouille de Canon abholen könnte. Das Cognac-Finish ist äußerst dezent, fast zu wenig im Vergleich zum Rauch und der Rum wirkt sehr jung und wild und daher leider auch scharf und alkoholisch. Trotzdem durchaus spannend zu probieren!
