“What's going on here? Even though OWH does not promise a high ester, there is hardly anything recognizable of the classic Hampden here - smoke that evokes associations of a whiskey finish, plus vegetal notes, hidden tropical fruits and some syrupy, heavy sweetness. On a positive note, the alcohol is excellently integrated. Nevertheless, I can do with the flavor mixture offered here times so nothing.”
