How does this rum taste?
Longueteau’s 125 ans is a Guadeloupe agricole that gets folks talking about its pronounced woody, vanilla, and brown sugar notes, often backed by dried fruit and a good deal of herbal or grassy character. The nose is "intense and fruity – feels very rich and mature," says DomM, with mto75 noting it’s "amazingly fruity, towards apricot or peach." Still, opinions split: some describe a well-balanced, complex rum with “lovely spices” (@Kevin Sorensen 🇩🇰), while others feel the palate is a touch thin or the bitterness too present for their liking. Short finish and slightly punchy alcohol integration are recurring themes, making it appealing to Agricole fans who don’t mind a drier, wood-forward rum.

Kurzer, etwas bitterer Abgang.
Nose is intense and fruity - feels very rich and mature. On the palate things get a bit thin unfortunately with spices and wood dominating the party. Finish is quite short, yet with a bit to much bitterness for this elegant bottling.
