Ce rhum vieux propose une très belle richesse aromatique au nez et en bouche. C’est un rhum d’une grande subtilité après repos et montre un caractère affirmé sur les épices, le boisé et le fruité. Délicat au nez et en bouche, malgré un côté sec il dispose d’une palette aromatique profonde, signe d’un excellent travail de la Favorite. La finale est d’une longueur extraordinaire et envoûtante avec qu’une envie… y revenir !
18.12.2021 Participating in a nice tasting given to me as a present. Nice hotel in a very central location. Notes Medium to dark in colour. Nose Fresh, light wood, faint roaster, floral, light grass, floral, faint honey. Palate Round, fresh, light wood, naturally sweet, ligh grass, faint caramel, light nutts, light citrus. Finish Medium long, fresh, light wood, fruits, citrus.
Nose: fruity on banana/roasted notes Mouth: warm but greedy/spicyFinal: long on tobacco This 2012 vintage is clearly more expressive and interesting than the 2015. This is what I expect from a good agricultural rum from La Favorite.
Du fruit à coque, une eau de vie de fruits trop mûres, du fût, quelques épices...un délice qui glisse rondement sur la langue et qui appelle à la gorgée suivante ! Un très joli La Favorite vraiment.
