"Trial 2: Reminiscent of cognac with mint, pineapple, citrus, green apple and date nut along with lots of wood and pepper. Tends to round thing but here would still be potential upwards I think."
"Warm and enveloping nose with notes of vanilla and pastry, roasted hazelnuts and gianduja, a hint of leather, tobacco, wood and some citrus, delicious. Intense and explosive on the palate with roasted hazelnuts/janduja, pepper, mountain herbs/resin/mint, dates, citrus zest, floral and woody with some cognac on the medium-long finish that then leaves a dry/woody/amuffy aftertaste that lingers even after tens of minutes. The abv is excellent and appears to be 15 degrees down. In the empty glass wood, fermented and floral."
"Beautiful attack that it is in the nose or in mouth, the cane of the favorite is immediately recognizable. There is a certain acidity brought by the lemon throughout the tasting and all this is sublimated by a rather pleasant young wood. It is a good rum rather spicy."
"An incredible discovery! Very attracted by the nose, I was afraid of its alcohol content. It is quite balanced even if it is better not to start the tasting here... The story is superb, sailboat without engine, aging during the journey, in the old way."
