"Very round profile with the typical Versailles pencil notes. In addition to these somewhat metallic-mineral wood notes, nice hints of tea, subtle sweetness, anise, licorice and yellow fruits. The alcohol is impressively well integrated - the profile is almost easy sipping at this alcohol strength, meaning very balanced, yet aromatically complex at the same time. Excellent barrel selection!"

"It may be an impeccably crafted Versailles, but it just doesn't have enough bite for me, remains somehow reserved overall."

"on the nose beautiful notes of yellow fruit, clove, anise and fresh herbs. The palate is very intense and concentrated, with ginger, pepper and cherry wood."
