Nachdem er in der Nase vor allem fruchtig daherkommt und diesen Eindruck für einen kurzen Moment auch am Gaumen bestätigt, schlägt er dann sofort in dunkle, holzige und Schokoladige Noten um. Leider etwas scharf und alkoholisch, für 17 Jahre doch etwas überraschend. Ansonsten sehr solide. Bei weniger präsentem Alkohol und dafür etwas mundfüllenderem Aroma wäre das eine Top-Abfüllung, so ordnet sie sich in einem starken Mittelfeld ein."

"Ein Rum, der erst mal viel Zeit braucht. Er riecht sehr fruchtig mit etwas Kokosnuss. Geschmacklich merkt man das nur im ersten Moment, der auch leicht scharf ist. Dann überwiegen Schokolade und Mokka. Das wirkt auch lange nach. Gefällt mir gut, wenngleich der Alkohol etwas besser eingebunden sein könnte."
