How does this rum taste?
The Haiti 2004 by The Rum Cask is a unique Haitian rum crafted at the Barbancourt distillery. Distilled using a Column Still and aged for 17 years, it is bottled at an assertive 58.6% ABV. Users note a strong glue-like aroma with undertones of vanilla, citrus, and an herbal touch. The palate reveals dominant citrus flavors complemented by chocolate, woody, and spicy notes. While praised for its fruitiness and complexity, some find the alcohol presence slightly overpowering. This rum needs time to breathe for its full character to unfold, offering a transition from fruity to chocolaty and woody nuances.

Spannend.
A rum that needs a lot of time in the glass to open properly
