"82 points. Classic TDL flavors, but there’s something that I just can’t put my finger on that disturbs me in the finish. Also too expensive for what it is."

"A truly delicious and surprising Trinidad rum. The nose is typical of TDLs, with blackcurrant and menthol, but also tropical and candied fruits, spices, slightly empyreumatic flavors reminiscent of Caroni, tobacco and notes of camphor, making for a very rich and pleasant olfactory profile. On the palate, the attack is intense and highly aromatic, carried by those notes of hydrocarbons, rubber and tar so dear to Caroni, but also by the abundance of tropical fruits, sweet spices and the scent of eucalyptus and menthol that perfume the palate to give a complex, terribly effective and delicious blend. The alcohol is also very well integrated, with a long finish of smoky flavors, menthol, tropical fruit, licorice and delicate woodiness. A real taste delight."

"A first deep and mysterious nose that quickly becomes discreet and comes back to the attack then on candied fruits and a minty cocoa. Straightforward mouthfeel with powerful depth 🔥this is a monster!!! It is both complex and concrete. The finish is long and makes me feel like I've eaten a nice piece of meat with a glass of red wine. I am a fan ❤❤"
