To Richland Rum
"The rum is bottled by the Danish independent bottler RomDeLuxe. The rum is 3yo and aged in american oak barrels, comes from the Richland Distillery Georgia, USA. It’s distilled in a Copper Pot Still from Cane Syrup. There are some similarities with Agricole, which I like. Overall a very good rum to be so young that tastes a little in between Agricole and more traditional rum."
"This was a retasting at last weekends tasting at whisky.dk. A slightly higher score. Still amazed at how much punch this release has despite it only being 43% ---- Original tasting below - - - - - As with most of the rums from Richland this one is also very light. I would have preferred it at an ABV above 50% because I think that would benefit a rum like this one. Lightly dry on the palate and finish. Overall an OK rum but it's like something is missing."
