The Cuba (Bottled for Perola) was produced in Cuba at the Secrete distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Compagnie des Indes. It was distilled in 2009 from Molasses with a Column Still and then aged for 11 years. The rum is bottled at cask strength and has an ABV of 56,9%. This is a limited release and there are only 226 bottles.

Tabak, Eiche, Karamell. Alkohol könnte besser integriert sein. Gut trinkbar und hat die Erwartungen übertroffen.

Erinnert mich an schokoladig-malziges stout Bier oder in stout Fässern gelagerten Irish whisky. Honig, Rauch, verbranntes Fass, viel Tabak, Karamell und etwas Traube, sowie salzige Schokolade und Pekannüsse sind zu finden. Lecker nur der Alkohol könnte etwas besser integriert sein. Da können der 9y und 10y alte 2009er Cuba etwas mehr!
