It was distilled in 2009 from Molasses with a Column Still and then aged for 11 years. The rum is bottled at cask strength and has an ABV of 56,9%. Puh, ganz schön alkoholisch. Ehrlich gesagt sonst relativ nichtssagend ohne viel Geschmack.
Erinnert mich an schokoladig-malziges stout Bier oder in stout Fässern gelagerten Irish whisky. Honig, Rauch, verbranntes Fass, viel Tabak, Karamell und etwas Traube, sowie salzige Schokolade und Pekannüsse sind zu finden. Lecker nur der Alkohol könnte etwas besser integriert sein. Da können der 9y und 10y alte 2009er Cuba etwas mehr!
