- Unique agricole complexity
- Rich citrus notes
- Subtle sweetness
Rhum Blanc Pre-Cask New Bacolet from Renegade distillery in Grenada offers an intriguing blend of sugarcane and grassy notes. This limited release of 1632 bottles, bottled at 50% ABV, delights with its subtle nose revealing citrus and fresh fermentation nuances. Tasting reveals dominant sugarcane, dry and grassy tones with a hint of citrus freshness. Some users note a lingering dryness, complemented by light wood and vanilla undertones. "This is from the latest release and I was very surprised about the fresh fruity nose and palate. Very balanced and only lightly dry. Just leaving it to rest will release very nice flavours from the glass. Price to quality is very good."
"Leckere Zitrus marmalade."
"2nd sample in the pre-cask project.Nose: again fruit esters, but actually a little less honey sweetness and less intense sweet fruit, more towards blackberry more hayPalate: more compact than the old Bakolet. Not quite as dry thereby more acidic and mineral and draws more bitter after. Again hay out the back but the fruit essence is missing. But clearly different, although the growing area is so close to."
"Nicht so viele Ester wie beim Old Bacolet. Vorallem in der Nase. Schöne agricoletypische Aromen mit Zitrusfrüchten und ein wenig Pfeffer am Gaumen."
