Not at the level of the 1st batch for a long time. But still a great Everyday Spanish Easy-Sipper with depth and sweet wood flavors. Excellent for newcomers and is also always great with my guests.For barrel strength warriors certainly not the right rum.
A mon goût c'est moyen donc moins de 60. Bien trop réduit acqueux et en plus sur du caramel torréfié, ce que je n'aime pas.
Compared to the 23 year old, more fruit on the finish. Very balanced. No real edges, but very delicate. Smoothe story, almost reminds me of a Flibuste.
The oakiness is the only thing that safes it from being completely forgettable. But the oak is nice and for something I don't care for, it has some qualities. It is rather sweet but not overly. I think this is okay!
