#4482 03-04.11.2023 Den Danske Whiskyfestival. Again a special meet up besides the event itself because we think it's a bit too dull. Had a great time with friends again. My notes. Nose: wood, fruity, pineapple, grass, spices, light floral note. Palate: warm, wood, ester, roasted, citrus, lightly dry. Finish: ester, wood, roasted, lightly dry, banana. Empty glass had faint anise and light marzipan.
Very interesting profile. The nose is fruity with a lot of ester and varnish. More of the same on the palate in addition of salt, spices and wood.
Wow. Nice complex Hampden. Well done sponge!
