“RumX-Adventskalender, 11.12., blind, Erster Eindruck: das ist ein Caroni! Und um 60%. So ist es und den kenne ich. Schon bei Renés Raritäten für gut befunden. Das bestätigt sich jetzt nochmals. Nase: intensiv und komplex und trotzdem rund. Als erstes Caroni-typisch Teer und Jod mit angesengtem Plastik aber gleichzeitig mit einer süßen Karamell-Note und einer gewissen Fruchtigkeit, wie Kirsche mit getrockneter, geschwefelter Aprikose. Hinten noch trockener Tabak mit Vanille und einer ganz leichten Essig-Note. Gaumen: vollmundig und intensiv und echt lecker. Zunächst überwiegen Phenol und Jod mit leichter Minze, leicht gesalzen und getoastet. Dann fruchtige Johannisbeere und Limette. Hinten nochmal Gummi und leibliches Veilchen und etwas schwarzem Tee. Überraschend gut!!!”

“Sehr klassisches Caroni-Profil, liegt nicht nur dem Jahrgang nach zwischen den gängigen 98er und 2000er Profilen mit deutlichen Teer- und Gumminoten gepaart mit Menthol und etwas Karamellsüsse. Positive Überraschung, eine richtig gute Abfüllung.”
