Schöner, ausgewogener und unkomplizierter Rum - trotz seines jungen Alters. Erinnert stark an Barbados und Belize Rums. Ideal für einen entspannten Abend.

I really liked this rum. It was one of two bottles I bought for the birth of my son (the other being Black Tot 51). My wife and I will drink it with him one day. It’s the first American rum I’ve ever tried. It doesn’t pack big flavours like some rums I could mention but it’s well balanced and highly refined. This is the first time I’ve ever tried to pick out tasting notes so I will return to it in a couple of years and update it if necessary as I have several 3ml samples.

Ein Foursquare-Travellers-Verschnitt. Etwas schwächer als die Originale. Nicht schlecht, aber auch nichts Neues unter der Sonne.

Gefällig, für drei Jahre schon recht rund. Recht nahe an Belize oder Barbados-Abfüllungen, Eiche, Vanille, Karamell und etwas Kokos. Mir fehlt bei den Privateers etwas die Eigenständigkeit im Profil - das sind natürlich gute Destillate, aber eben ohne echtes Alleinstellungsmerkmal.
