This is a very nice Caroni though the rubber note is very light the tar on the other hand is throughout the profile. I like the smoky wood and spices as well as the light fruits. I picked up some chocolate in the empty glass. Overall a well balanced rum with an oily palate. Draws really nice curtains in the glass.

Pas expert des caroni, mais j ai vraiment bien aimé ! Par rapport aux autres que j ai pu goûter, c est moins sale et plus fruité avec un côté très crémeux en douche. Franchement l alcool y est très bien intégré…. C est très bon, mais pour les puriste caroni que je ne suis pas je ne saurais pas faire un comparatif.
Mon premier caroni, ma notation dépend donc de mon appréciation du rhum sans avoir pu le comparer à d autres. Premier nez, on est chez tdl, fruits exotiques séchés, ananas, mangue, entres autres. A force de l aérer, l histoire commence. Apparition brutale de notes tourbees, un écran De fumée très présent, avec des odeurs de garage auto. Les fruits reviennent ensuite. C est très évolutif, car a la seconde degustation, des notes de caoutchouc tres presentes. La bouche confirme le nez mais conserve les notes fruitées tout le long. Une finale assez longue. Ah je savais que mettre le nez dans ces caroni allait être dangereux ....
