“Überraschend harmonisch! Alkohol könnte minimal besser eingebunden sein aber ich hätte echt nicht gedacht das das Islay finish hier gut rein passt, da ich absolut kein Torf Fan bin. Bin positiv überrascht! Der typische Barbados Charakter kommt trotzdem intensiven Finish trotzdem noch schön zur Geltung. Da ich aber kein Islay Fan bin muss ich den dennoch nicht nochmal haben und kann ihn nun endlich von meiner Liste streichen!😅 180€+ ist die Flasche darüber hinaus mMn nicht wert...”

“"Peatling" this rum was an ingenious idea from Mount Gay and I love it. This is a rum that whisky drinkers will like as well. You may want to add a few drops of water to lessen the burn, but not really needed. The nose is fruity with peat and smoke followed by oak, caramel and vanilla. I just kept on nosing this one. The palate is complex and very well balanced with fruit and spices topped off with caramel, oak and smoke. The peat is here again. The finish is long, very long and warm with spices, orange and a touch of smoke.”

“Tatsächlich Anklänge von weichem Whisky bei ansonsten sehr rundem, hatmonischen Körper. Fruckt und Süße sind angenehm mild, der Alkohol kommt im Abgang etwas pfeffrig nach. Feige, Dattel, ein bisschen gebrannte Mandel.”
