CoR Foursquare Barbados Ed. 8
A balanced Foursquare with aged wood, roasted coconut, and chocolate notes—classic but not unexpected for the distillery. One to try if you enjoy drier, oak-led rums.
Roasted coconut and wood dominate this approachable Foursquare experience.

How does this rum taste?
- Well integrated ABV
- Roasted coconut. Dryish. Glue
- Fresh, balanced, light wood, fruity
Barbados Ed. 8, a 22-year Foursquare from The Colours of Rum, gives classic FS vibes with lots of wood, roasted coconut, and dark chocolate, plus a hint of nail polish and glue throughout. Michael Schou highlights its evolving appeal: "Enjoys it more and more for every time I taste it." Rowald Sweet Empire calls it "very coconutty. Roasted coconut. Dryish. Glue." While the profile is predictably Foursquare, many enjoy its balance of wood, spice, and subtle fruity-banana notes. The ABV integration gets mixed notes, but it's solid and nicely aged.

"Compared to the other 1998 in the CoR series, the complexity is lacking here - the herbal notes are just as weakly represented as are the heavy vanilla and toffee sweetness. Solid in the best sense, slight plus points for the recognizable barrel influence."
"Not a surprising profile. Very very FS. But a good one. Very coconutty. Roasted coconut. Dryish. Glue. Butterscotch. Virgin oak. The age tamed the flavours a bit. Lovely."
"Klassischer Foursquare, nicht mehr und nicht weniger."
"Alcohol not so well integrated."
