Skeldon is a fan's dream. What about the version "The Nectar" of the bottler S.B.S.? Very nice nose, one would think one was in a private English club with old leather armchairs and a hint of smoke. A very deep nose with a hint of Kirsch. The mouth is very full and supple. We find the old leather and a bit of bitter almonds. The finish is super long, almost endless. The empty glass has a complexity of flavor, with base notes (wood, leather, sugar) and top notes with dried fruit, vanilla and very ripe fruit.Tasted again and a little notch below the El Dorado.

Now this is a demerara Rum, wow.If you rest this one for 15 minutes you're going to be in roasted nutty heaven. The roasted oak is heavy from nose to finish without being too dominant. Wonderfully balanced in its complexity.Spice, licorice and chocolate envelopes this to create a perfect harmony on your palate.Great rum unfortunately also not on my shelves.

Verkostet mit dem 2001 Nobilis Swr, dem SBS 2001 21yo SWR und dem 2001 Nectar … der hier ist knapp mein Favourit vor dem SBS 21yo und dem Nobilis.

Sehr identisch zum VM SWR. Minimal stärkerer Alkohol führt zu etwas mehr Mundfülle. Minimal rauchiger. Sehr schöner Rum auch mit ausgeprägter Haselnussnote.
