“#4034 Plantation is usually equal to added sugar and so is this rum. Sweet and spicy on the palate as well as some varnish and rubber notes. Not to bad and you get what you pay for.”

“Le nez est très accrocheur : whisky, boisé, sucré, fruits très mûrs, banane bien noire. On sent que ça va être riche. Première gorgée après 40 minutes d'aération : l'alcool est d'abord très (trop ?) présent et prend toute la bouche. Une fois atténué, le sucre explose en bouche et libère une multitude de choses. Difficile de tout identifier pour moi : toujours du fruit très mûr, des baies sèches, du whisky, du cognac, etc. Une légère amertume en fin de bouche. Le rhum n'évolue pas beaucoup dans le temps. J'ai juste noté une pointe d'acidité non perçue initialement. Belle découverte. Un rhum avec un profil nouveau pour moi. Par ce que je préfère, mais intéressant de temps à autres. Édit 04/02/22 : pas mal du tout ce rhum quand même. Grand arôme assez typique.”
