"Die Nase weckt direkt den Eindruck von Pfirsich/Nektarien und Aprikosen und kaum wahrnehmbarer Alkohol, was auch vermutlich auf die nur 40% zurückzuführen ist. Mit etwas Zeit gesellt sich ein wenig Klebstoff dazu und eine ausgewogene Süße. Eine sehr ansprechende Nase! Am Gaumen sind die Früchte aus der Nase intensiv wahrnehmbar, leider aber auch nicht viel mehr. Die Süße aus der Nase fehlt hier leider auch komplett. Der Abgang ist sehr trocken und mittellang. Dieser Rum macht schon direkt Vorfreude auf die nachfolgenden Rums von New Grove, da ich mir sehr gut vorstellen kann, dass er mit einem höheren Alkoholgehalt und reifer sehr gut werden kann. 76 Punkte"
