“Diamond Distillery - Guyana Cwompagnie des Indes Distilled: 05.2010 Bottled: 11.2018 Aged 8 Years DDL Port Mourant Still 43% Cask No. GPM 52 One of 387 Bottles Melasse-Rum Farbe: Weisswein Geruch: Süß mit viel Estern. Riecht nach vergorenen Äpfeln und Birnen. Stinkt zudem nach Verfaultem und Kuhfladen Nach einigem Stehen setzen sich dann Aromen von Apfel- und Birnensaft durch mit etwas Zuckerrohrsaft. Zudem grüne Zweige und Gras. Geschmack: Schmeckt absolut nicht! Im Mund wässrig mit sehr wenig Geschmack. Nach dem Schlucken trocken, würzig, holzig mit Sandelholz. Hat zudem einen schwachen unangenehmen Nebengeschmack. Abgang: Sehr trocken, zudem erdig, würzig und wenig intensiv. Bitter und holzig im Nachgeschmack. Fazit: Nach dem Belize die zweite Enttäuschung von CDI in Folge. Dieser hier schmeckte meiner Frau und mir überhaupt nicht. Im Geruch unangenehm, im Geschmack bitter. 65 Punkte”
