How does this rum taste?
RumX members love the dark chocolate and raisin vibe here, backed by sherryed wood and a hint of smoke. Aged 20 years in Mexico and bottled at 40%, it drinks sweet-leaning with a woody finish. Reviewers often enjoy it neat, sometimes alongside a cigar. While some find the body light and wish for more ABV, it's a solid, well‑regarded pick with 75 RumX reviews.

Delicious, really good for an average rum. For the fact that the Advent calendar was so cheap, I can really taste the dark chocolate. Otherwise you can't say anything against this rum. Recommended.
For me one of the best Mexican I have ever drunk
24 Days of Rum, Blue Edition, Day 22 The 20 years in the barrel reveal their aromas as soon as they are poured. Heavy, spicy, sweet, dried fruit, raisin, coffee, dark chocolate wood, vanilla ... the full program in the nose and on the palate. The finish is also pleasantly rich and even a little fruity. A lovely after-work sipper.
Not bad in total. I think it is slightly strong but really it worth to taste.
