Color: Dark amber Aroma: Sweet and funky with plenty of ester and fruit aromas. Coconut, Brazil nut. I smell absolutely nothing of the rye whiskey. Given the age, you would actually expect wood aromas, but the funky esters mask everything. Well, maybe a hint of wood and vanilla in the background. Taste: Sweet and mild in the mouth. Then fruity and spicy on the swallow. There are now caramel and wood aromas on the palate. Finish: Short Spicy and woody but still fruity. Dry in the aftertaste 81 points
