Molasses is what I smell. My wife, raisins. I am still working out the flavors. The 11 various pots might be a few too many, as I’m not quite there on the taste.

Un rum bien typique de la Jamaïque, plaisant avec de la souplesse sans excès.

A really good Jamaican blend! I can definitely taste Worthy Park and Hampden.

The alcohol cover the rest

Ein kräftiger Geruch nach Ester, verbotene Früchte, etwas alkoholisch. Der Geschmack ist kräftig, dunkle Schokolade, Röstaromen, etwas pfeffrig.

This Jamaican pot still rum at ABV 57% is a blend of distillates from Hampden, Worthy Park and Monymusk. It’s aged in former bourbon barrels. The color is deep amber with a little help from added color otherwise there’s no flavoring additives. The finish is rather long and it’s very dry in the very end. Overall a well balanced full bodied Jamaican rum without being extremely heavy with taste of esters.

Nice surprise! Fruity, woody, coffee and seems to me a slight roastiness. Alcohol not integrated as well as it could be.

Now it's getting a little better. On the nose we have esters with a little banana, as well as honey and caramel and, if you draw too deeply, a lot of alcohol ;-) A different picture on the palate. It is spicy and woody, with solvent and dark chocolate.

Dieser Rum erfüllt alles was man von einem britischen blendet Still erwarten kann. Würzig im Geschmack aber nicht zu viel, eine leicht fruchtige rote Note.Die Süsse hält sich dezent im Hintergrund und auch die Gewürze sind gut abgestimmt. Der hohe Alkoholgehalt macht sich kaum bemerkbar. Zum mixen zu schade. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist hervorragend.

Un Jamaicain typique

Schöner Jamaicaner. Anders als man es gewohnt ist, tritt aus dem zu erwartenden Ester Obstkorb auch Vanille ganz besonders deutlich hervor. Obwohl ich Jamaica am liebsten im Cocktail mag, finde ich den hier pur auch super!

Intense and strong. Jamaican - you can never mistake it for something else. Funky, but in moderation, not over the top. Ripe banana, dried mango, candied fruit, peppery tingle, pastry. A touch of wood and vanilla. Sweet but not too much. I like it a lot!
