How does this rum taste?
Reviewers are consistently impressed by how smooth this high-proof rum drinks, with many highlighting its rich chocolate and caramel notes layered with roasted and woody undertones. It’s enjoyed as a sipper, especially among enthusiasts seeking powerful yet well-integrated flavors. The strong resemblance to Foursquare and Belize rums makes it notable, although some caution about the high price. Worth trying if you value character and depth in your rum.

As expected, the alcohol is quite recognizable, but next to it show some quite appealing notes of especially heavy sweetness of caramel, vanilla and dried fruit. Has subtle hints of sherry, overall quite pleasant to title. Great that one has dared a bottling with this strength.
🤯 with info 74% so incredibly smooth? Mega cool. Could easily pass as a really good Belize or foursquare for me in blind tasting. Really puts you in a good mood. Banana split/chocolate and salted caramel cream. Very tasty! If the price of over €200 for a relatively full proof Spaniard wasn't so expensive, the rating could definitely be a little higher...
Bought this bottle at Premier Cru next to the Antigua Distillers Ltd Headoffice in Saint John‘s. The nose is really special, rich and complex. Fruity banana with some wooden and chocolate notes. The taste is quite strong due to the 73,6%, but still surprisingly comfortable enough for pure sipping with notes of chocolate, roast and spice. Long finish down the throat, warm and roasty. This is really a weapon. Great great stuff! Thanx to the staff of premier cru for the recommendation!
A whopping 73.6%! Of course, it cuts the nose a little at first. But then you can carefully approach the aromas. And they are very nice and full-bodied. The first notes are cocoa and chocolate, plus a little floury banana and the tart sweetness of maple syrup. Lovely wood, tobacco and leather are added. More tropical fruit and papaya on the back. The high ABV makes it creamy and warm. But the alcohol is incredibly well integrated. Immediately has that chocolatey note again, but with a hint of brioche and caramel or toffee. Maple syrup, vanilla and tropical fruits are present, as well as dried dates. Brioche and vanilla in the finish too. It has a lot to offer. But we recommend trying it.
