How does this rum taste?
RumX members praise this 1991 Guyana Demerara Dark Rum for its typical KFM profile: lots of wood, leather and tobacco with clear bitter notes, cocoa and dark chocolate. On the palate it is very spicy, woody and complex with dark fruits, pencil and cigar accents, and a long, dry, chocolatey finish. The 45% feel surprisingly full, making it a great pick for lovers of bitter, woody Demeraras.

Borderline bitterness as usual with the commercial profile. Despite the dilution, the rum doesn't seem thin at all!
Very spicy and woody with lots of bitters. Chocolate dark fruits lots of wood influence, leather pencil. Pleasant sweetness on first contact in the mouth. On the whole, too much bitterness for me.
