The goal? To offer you, the rum connoisseur, a place where you can choose with confidence—without paperwork, detours, or expert jargon.

A very bold full bodied Agricole. Lots of wood like a darker cognac or vintage armagnac. Slight acidic tone. French oak. Tannins like a great red wine or sherry. Very thick on woody flavours. Spices. It fills your mouth, its complex but also very rounded. Probably one of the best and thickest Agricoles I ever had. For 125€ its an easy buy for such a complex rum.
Lovely release and I like the light citrus touch through the profile.
Edit: after buying a bottle and drinking the bottle, there's what I like in very old bielle, jammy fruit and a sweetness counterbalanced by fine oak and spices that may be more present than other bottlings, but I like it. What's more, the bottom of the bottle offers a smoky solvent side that adds depth. Delicious rum with remarkable balance! Makes you want to buy a bottle!
Beautiful nose, taste but overall it is a bit too bitter, peppery and too woody for me. In the finish comes some prune, bitter orange and mint but overall I prefer but more the slightly fruitier and sweeter bielles.
