It was distilled in 2011 from Molasses and then aged for 8 years. The rum is bottled at cask strength and has an ABV of 66,5%. "Dieser Worthy Park ist aufgrund des tanninbefreiten, wiederbefüllten Bourbonfasses und der (nach meinem Empfinden) kontinentalen Reifung ziemlich destillatgetrieben. Dies äußert sich neben dem grasig-frischen Geruch mit dem Haupaugenmerk auf Bananen und Kräutern auch in einem intensiven Antritt mit leichten alkoholischen Spitzen und einer an frischen Ingwer und roten Pfeffer erinnernden Schärfe. Hat man sich hier erfolgreich durchgekaut, trifft man wieder auf die typischen Bananennoten und auch das Fass bringt nun noch angenehm toastige und röstige Akzente ins Spiel. Noch nicht ganz ausgereift, macht aber schon viel Spaß!"
"Interessante Abfüllung der Scotch Malt Whisky Society, Worthy Park continental gereift. Kaum obstige Esternoten, der Jamaica Funk fehlt irgendwo. In der Nase erst nichtssagend, am Gaumen gab's erst einen Aromenpeak, der schnell abflachte von intensiven mineralischen, grasigen Noten hin zu grüner Banane mit leicht kräuteriger Schärfe, die an frisch geriebenen Rettich erinnert. Nett, aber nicht sehr gut."

"Für mich persönlich eine schöne Überraschung gewesen, hatte ein wenig Bedenken dass dieser eher nach Whisky anstatt nach Rum schmeckt. Der Alkohol ist meines Erachtens nicht ganz so gut eingebunden. Der Rest vom Sample hat aber ziemlich gut als Mixer abgeliefert."
