The "R9.9 Challenging conventional wisdom" was produced in Panama at the Varela Hermanos distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler The Scotch Malt Whisky Society. It was distilled in 2008 from Molasses with a Column Still and then aged for 13 years. The rum is bottled at cask strength and has an ABV of 63%.
