This one is better than the regular 12 year old and a very nice surprise. I also like the shape of the bottle. Oak from nose to finish, very fresh with fruits and spices. This is a sipper and not a mixer. Price to quality is very good.

Voraus sei gesagt, ich bin ein Appleton-Fan. Schönes Geschmacksprofil. Getrocknete Früchte, Banane, perfekte Holzreife, Gewürze und am Ende der Potstill-Anteil mit Lösungsmittel. Komplex.

Even though I usually prefer rums from continental South America, this Jamaican rum is good. There seems to be relatively low sweetness, more spiciness buy still well rounded experience.
