Havana Club Cuban Smoky
Most enjoy the easy sweetness and subtle Islay smoke, especially in long drinks. Critics find it thin, too mild, or too whisky‑leaning. Consensus: approachable, mixer-focused, not a serious sipper.
Whisky-curious rum drinkers and cocktail fans wanting an easy, sweet Cuban base with a gentle Islay-style smokiness for cola, ginger beer or simple highballs.

The goal? To offer you, the rum connoisseur, a place where you can choose with confidence—without paperwork, detours, or expert jargon.

Light and very easy to drink (doesn’t slow you down). Lots of caramel, hints of smoke, round wood, lots of vanilla and some cream, brown sugar, some minor hints of peat.
delicious....unknown taste but very pleasant.....
Auto-translatedLittle to no smoky notes from the extra ageing in islay whisky casks
Went to the local guy yesterday just bacause he's just around the corner, almost. This is definitely a mixer and the Islay cask is very clear with its smoky/peated notes. Pure it didn't really kick off and I'm not an "on the rocks" kind of guy. Where it performed well was in a Rum'n'cola and mixed with a bit of ginger beer and a lime.
