#12th dec RumXCalendar Blind tasting: Nose: Solvents, a hint of esters, cedar wood, fruity, peaches, trop. fruits Mouth: minty like some fisherman friends, fruity, spicy (first sip was like fruit schnaps), woody Finish: long, woody, minty, toaated, barrel notes, tannins, vanilla, honey I think it should be from Clarendon/LP ca.60% 15 years of aging
Nase und Abgang hatte ich tatsächlich Blauschimmelkäse geschmeckt🤔Aber leider geil! Die 68% vertragen auch ein wenig Wasser. Edit: RumX Advent 12.12.22 Heutiges Motto: wenns nach Käse schmeckt, ist der Rum aus der Schweiz 😜 Herrlich intensiv, Gummi, rote Früchte, Kiwi, Holz, salzig, vergorene Banane, sauer und eben (Blauschimmel-)Käse. Im Abgang noch Leder und Himbeer Konfitüre. Vermutung: Clarendon 2007 68% von CG 🎯🥳
unglaublich schweres, komplexes Teil. An der Nase habe ich Pflaumenkompott, allerlei aus dem Chemielabor (Wachs, Lack, Alkali, Gummi), Trockenfrüchte, Leder, vergorenes Obst. Am Gaumen Mokka, Fass, Fahrradschlauch, verbrannt. Das haut ordentlich rein. Den Alkohol finde ich sehr gut eingebunden…absolut positiv überrascht, der ist ja mal richtig gut!
Verkostet im RumX Adventskalender … super lecker und einer mei er Favourites bisher. Die Käsenote habe ich von mir aus nich wahrgenommen bzw. Nicht selbst die Assoziation hergestellt. Fand ihn einfach nur lecker, aber auch etwas speziell.
