How does this rum taste?
- Chocolate and vanilla lead
- Fruity and approachable profile
- Good price-to-quality
Chocolate, vanilla, and caramel lead the way in Plantation Australia 2007, joined by ripe tropical fruits and a gentle floral note—an approachable combination that earns consistent praise for its smoothness and roundness. While a Cognac-style finish and hints of spice add complexity, some RumX tasters mention a short finish or slightly sharp alcohol. Worth a sip for anyone seeking a dessert-like, fruit-forward rum with a twist.

To Beenleigh
"Not mine at all, tastes somehow sharp and clumsy. Nah, unfortunately not a pleasant rum, but only mediocre."
"09.03.2025 Retasting with a couple of friends at our quarterly meet up. ____________________________ A very nice surprise and a good release from Australia. Flowery and fruity and a very good price to quality."
"Really fails after the beginning of sipping. Unfortunate!"
